Beryl’s food service background includes 3 years as Senior Customer Service Representative and 9 years as Customer Service Manager for Kraft Food Service in Chicago, Illinois & Columbia, Maryland. During this time she won the prestigious Kraft Gold Medallion Award for excellence in service and training.In 1994, Beryl left the food service industry to become and apprentice carpenter and, ultimately, journeyman finish carpenter. She plied her trade for over 8 years. In 2002, she hung up her tool belt to begin a new stage in her career as a Special Representative for the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters.
With Feast Bistro, Beryl has realized her longtime dream of opening a restaurant with her partner of many years, Chef Susan Coulter. Along with her “day job”, Beryl serves as hostess in the restaurant. “The addition of Feast Bistro to Ojai’s historic Arcade will truly enhance and complement this charming town,” says Beryl. “I look forward to seeing you there!”
